A strata transition package is not an operational record

Folders and document portals can store files, but strata management still has to interpret, reorganize and reconnect them to the correct building, strata lot, asset, resident and responsibility.

Create the record around the property

Projects, homes, specifications, assets, photographs, warranty information and activity should be structured around the property from the outset. Every later participant can then inherit the same context without rebuilding it.

Preserve building knowledge when people change

The building remains after the people managing it change. Strata managers and council members change. Trades change. New residents arrive. A living property record keeps operational knowledge attached to the property rather than the individual who happened to manage it.

Continue beyond move-in

The same foundation can support deficiencies, warranty, strata operations, communications and authorized ownership or occupancy changes. The home has a record. It stays with the home.
