Cookie Notice - Canada
How necessary browser technology and consent-based analytics are used on the Canadian HomeBook website.
Last updated 2 September 2026
1. Scope
This notice explains how HOMEBOOK RESIDENT EXPERIENCE SOLUTIONS INC. uses cookies and similar browser technology on home-book.ca. It should be read with our Canadian Privacy Policy.
2. Necessary technology
The website uses technology needed to deliver pages, maintain security, prevent misuse and provide requested features. Hosting and security providers may process connection information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and request time. These functions cannot be switched off through the website.
3. Analytics choice storage
The website stores an essential entry in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you allowed or declined optional analytics. This entry records the choice, not your name or enquiry content, and remains until you change the choice or clear the website’s saved data in your browser.
4. Optional analytics
If Google Analytics is configured, it remains off until you select “Allow analytics”. Analytics helps HomeBook understand which pages and journeys are useful. We do not use this consent to enable advertising or behavioural profiling. Google may process analytics information outside Canada under its own terms and privacy documentation.
5. Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings control in the website footer to review or change your analytics choice at any time. You can also clear website data or block storage through your browser. Blocking necessary technology may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies, browser storage or analytics may be sent to alex.minashi@home-book.co.uk.
